Rojak & Cendol

Location: Taman Sea, PJ (Rojak & Cendol Penang)

Operation runs on the modified-lorry...

Menu on the board with inflated price recently...

Rojak sotong & telur...

Average cendol at RM1.50...

The rojak is OK as the sauce is not that spicy as compared to other similar stalls everywhere in Klang Valley. You may pay 50cents extra to add noodle in (aka rojak mee).

If you want a simple dessert and something to fill your stomach, the rojak and cendol will be perfect combination. At only RM5 you will have a happy meal :)

PastaMania

Location: Jusco Bukit Tinggi, Klang (PastaMania)

Dine-in restaurant but with quick service concept...
Interior casual setting to offer italian food at affordable prices...
Carbonara again, but this time is with farfalle (bow-tie) pasta...
36 outlets worldwide and have served 7,242,537 pasta... sound impressive?

Here offer many varieties and choices, from pizza til pasta, there are great selection and even pasta alone comes in many shapes. Good for those who's tired of missionary pattern and wanna try out new surprises... especially for those who live in cowboy town!

I'm an Italian food lover and I used to like PastaMania by having dined at Pavilion, Bkt Tinggi & Pg. My last visit made me decided to boycott this outlet due to their poor SOP. Too bad, they just lose out on me... I was a no.1 supporter lastime though :)

Kim Gary

Location: The Curve, PJ (Kim Gary)

Lemon juice, teh ice and dessert
Combo hot plate set meal at RM23.90...

Among the hot plate set meals, there are Flaming Combo with Rum, Steak, Pork Chop Cutlet, Grilled Chicken Chop, Herbed Lamb, Roasted Spare Rib with Honey, and Combo (Grilled Pork, Fish Fillet & Chicken Chop).

Generally the food is way better than his brother's Ah Wong outlet... dine here is also so much better than the whatever local kopitiam lah!

Bosco is the ambassador for this chain outlets. His name is really so bossy, they only collect cash on payment to facilitate laundering :)

Wong Kok

Location: 1U Shopping Mall, PJ (Wong Kok)

Hot Plate Set Meals: Mixed, Steak, Lamp, Pork and Chicken...
Above-average apple fruit juice and condensed-milk Teh-Ice...
Grilled pork chop served on hot plate...
With generous supply of garlic sauce self-poured in...
Every RM10 spent stands for a chance to win 32" LCD...

This is just another typical-case of business cum political fight in F&B industry. Ah Wong is manning Wong Kok while his brother Bosco controls Kim Gary. Both restaurnt chains are of HK-style.

It's not safe to dine at actual Wong Kok in HK. So many HK films have portrayed Wong Kok as gangster-paradise, hence it will not be peaceful to makan there. However over here in Wong Kok, the worst thing can happen is only to bite the hard-cooked lousy pork, at least don't have to bite the bullet :)

Italian Pasta

Location: Taman Segar, Cheras, KL
New outlet, very simple setup, nothing fancy...
Penne chicken cabonara, remains one of my favourite Italian dishes...
Al funghi cabonara, served with several types of mushorooms...

The chef is a real Italian man and the waiter is also another real Italian man. I use the word 'real' as they are really not that friendly and dislike talking to restaurant customers. Are they really that ego?

Can see from above pictures, Italian shits are really so yellowish especially on the 2nd dish... really no joke :)

Hing Loong

Location: Uptown, Damansara Utama, PJ (Hing Loong)

HQ in Melaka, the only branch in KL/PJ is in Uptown...
Few highlights in newspaper & magazines...
My typical order which consist of noodle, soup & soya drink...
Great Shanghai noodle with superb spare-rib...

This is another eatery place where you are pampered by China ladies... the only difference is here the enjoyment is via input into your mouth, as compared to other eatery joint in Pudu area where it's via output on man's secret weapon.

You can kill 2 birds at 1 go by getting to sample Shanghai cum Taiwanese food, or Taiwanese cum Shanghai food... just imagine how much you could have saved on airflight alone :)

Kum Heong

Location: PJ State, PJ (Kum Heong)

Have LCD to display some program, u find it out yourself lah...
Mainly seafood ingredients only...
RM8.50/serving which is not cheap...
Side dishes ordered from other stall - chee-cheong-fun...
Charcoal toast-bread with butter & kaya...

This is the place to go, very hifi... the restaurant has a LCD to show good porno video to stimulate our food consumption. The owner is happy pocketing on the food income while the patrons are happily watching the great show!
