Kim Gary

Location: The Curve, PJ (Kim Gary)

Lemon juice, teh ice and dessert
Combo hot plate set meal at RM23.90...

Among the hot plate set meals, there are Flaming Combo with Rum, Steak, Pork Chop Cutlet, Grilled Chicken Chop, Herbed Lamb, Roasted Spare Rib with Honey, and Combo (Grilled Pork, Fish Fillet & Chicken Chop).

Generally the food is way better than his brother's Ah Wong outlet... dine here is also so much better than the whatever local kopitiam lah!

Bosco is the ambassador for this chain outlets. His name is really so bossy, they only collect cash on payment to facilitate laundering :)

Thermal Spring Water

Product: Thermal Spring Water (Corine de Farme)

What is it so special?

As its name implies, the water is captured during spring time and stored nicely in a thermal bottle. The water is expensive as it's a product from France and French products are never cheap! People generally uses it when they feel dehydrated by spraying it onto the skin, however I think it works best if you can directly spray it into your mouth whenever you feel thristy!

Only available in Sasa, normal price at RM32.90 for a 500ml bottle. You might as well buy the 600ml mineral bottle from Giant which is cheaper at 50cents only, or else just go to any running tapwater will do :)

Wong Kok

Location: 1U Shopping Mall, PJ (Wong Kok)

Hot Plate Set Meals: Mixed, Steak, Lamp, Pork and Chicken...
Above-average apple fruit juice and condensed-milk Teh-Ice...
Grilled pork chop served on hot plate...
With generous supply of garlic sauce self-poured in...
Every RM10 spent stands for a chance to win 32" LCD...

This is just another typical-case of business cum political fight in F&B industry. Ah Wong is manning Wong Kok while his brother Bosco controls Kim Gary. Both restaurnt chains are of HK-style.

It's not safe to dine at actual Wong Kok in HK. So many HK films have portrayed Wong Kok as gangster-paradise, hence it will not be peaceful to makan there. However over here in Wong Kok, the worst thing can happen is only to bite the hard-cooked lousy pork, at least don't have to bite the bullet :)

Italian Pasta

Location: Taman Segar, Cheras, KL
New outlet, very simple setup, nothing fancy...
Penne chicken cabonara, remains one of my favourite Italian dishes...
Al funghi cabonara, served with several types of mushorooms...

The chef is a real Italian man and the waiter is also another real Italian man. I use the word 'real' as they are really not that friendly and dislike talking to restaurant customers. Are they really that ego?

Can see from above pictures, Italian shits are really so yellowish especially on the 2nd dish... really no joke :)
